Your knowledge amazes me! I want to (well, need to) cut our sugar intake. Which is pretty easy for me except when it come to cookies (and baking in general). I think I need someone to just tell me what to use and how to use it. Maybe you could do a part 7 and share your two cents or tell us how you bake.
ReplyDeleteI am guilty of the use of sugar. :) We mainly use turbinado, palm (coconut) sugar, and brown sugar. I don't prefer the taste of stevia and while I LIKE xylitol, it doesn't like me. I recommend xylitol and palm sugar for people trying to reduce sugar use or just eat healthier. I think they are easy to use and taste great. Both are cup for cup replacement for white table sugar. If I am baking for just the boys I do use xylitol. Thank you so much for your kind comment Jenny, looking forward to seeing you in a week or so. I might just have to do a part 7....
ReplyDeleteNic you are the best! I bet if we sat down and talked - oh the wonderful things we could hatch!!! I too use light brown sugar or turbinado/palm sugar all the time! And xylitol hates me too!! Hey - you get some good traffic on this site, and you end up funneling a lot to my site too! Thanks girl, you are AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteAww, Thanks Michelle, I KNOW! We would be a wicked duo. I always recommend your site. It rocks. Have a super day!
